Welcome to the Community Literacy Lab's Social Discovery Lounge (SDL), designed especially for pre-teens (ages 11–12) and teens! The SDL is a welcoming space where young people can connect through shared interests while enjoying a calm, structured environment.

Spend time:

• Working on projects

• Drawing, crafting, and creating

• Reading or studying

• Exploring personal interests

• Playing board games and collaborative activities

• Relaxing and socializing with peers

Build meaningful connections through shared experiences—without the pressure of awkward icebreakers or large crowds. Whether you're creative, curious, bookish, tech-minded, or simply looking for a place to belong, you'll find a supportive community here.
